Hemodialysis is a treatment for patients with kidney failure. One of the main problems in patients on hemodialysis is increasing of interdialytic weight gain (IDWG) due to decreased kidney excretion function. Increasing of interdialytic weight gain cause dangerous conditions and reduce the function of whole-body systems, especially cardiovascular and respiratory systems. These conditions require appropriate intervention. Various references reported intradialysis exercise can be an alternative intervention to reduce interdialytic weight gain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of intradialytic exercise intervention to reduce interdialytic weight gain in patients on hemodialysis. A quantitative descriptive analytic study was conducted. Sixty-four patients on hemodialysis were randomly selected in hemodialysis unit. Patients performed intradialytic exercise twice a week for 8 weeks. Statistical analysis with general linear model repeated measure showed there was decrease in the interdialytic weight gain mean in patients on hemodialysis after 3-8 weeks intervention intradialytic exercise with p value of 0.000; <0.05. The interdialytic weight gain mean decrease between 0.281 and 1.438kg. Performed minimal four weeks intradialytic exercise was effective to reduced interdialytic weight gain in patients on hemodialysis. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested for nurses to educate patient on hemodialysis about intradialytic exercise. Intradialytic exercise can be an alternative independent nursing intervention to reduce interdialytic weight gain in patients on hemodialysis.

Hospitals as a place of health services are required to provide quality services. One of the determinants of the level of satisfaction of health services is health workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of health service quality with patient satisfaction at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital. This research is an analytic study using a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study were all inpatients at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital. The sampling technique used an accidental sampling of 49 people. Data collection was done using questionnaires. Analysis of the data was done by univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed there was a significant relationship between the reliability of officers, the responsiveness of officers, employee guarantees, the attention of health workers, and physical evidence of health services with the level of patient satisfaction at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital in 2019. Based on the results of the study, it was found that officer response, officer guarantee, officer attention, and physical evidence of service in the category of not qualified and there is a significant relationship with the level of patient satisfaction at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital in 2019.

Background: The identification, situation, background, assessment and recommendation (ISBAR) is a handoff tool that plays an important role in transferring responsibility and accountability in patient care from outgoing shifts to incoming shifts. Many researchers believe that handoff is very important among nurses. Nurses had the responsibility to ensure patients' correct information which were shared among themselves during handoff. It also delivers the best patient care by improving the transfer of clinical information globally and systematically. Purpose: The aim of the study is to determine nurse's perception and compliance on ISBAR tool for handoff communication in tertiary hospital, Dammam. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in oncology unit at tertiary hospital, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Total sample size was 70. Questionnaire was the instrument tool in the study to measure nurse's perception and compliance on ISBAR tools. Result: The overall perception mean score achieved was 38.64±1.455 and compliance score was 7.73±0.588. This showed nurses had good perception and compliance on ISBAR tools and none of them had poor perception and compliance regarding the same. There was statistically significant relationship (P=0.000) between perception and compliance on ISBAR tools. Conclusion: ISBAR is reliable and effective handoff communication tools to promote patient safety. However, continuous education should be maintained to ensure all nurses competent in ISBAR tool. Further studies will be necessary to evaluate relationship between nurses' perception and compliance on ISBAR tool.
