Global organizations are still facing challenges in achieving sustainable performance despite the surge in digital technologies. It is imperative that firms invest in digital capabilities to secure sustainable market performance in the face of a barrage of novel inventions. Today, ensuring a resilient future demands business to focus on digital ambidexterity capabilities (i.e., exploitation and exploration), digitalized strategy adoption, and digital transformation. This study investigates the intricate dynamics between digital capabilities and digitalization strategies and their impact on sustainable business performance. The research employed a questionnaire-driven methodology to gather data from managerial personnel within industries. Results show that digital exploitation and exploration capabilities significantly enhance sustainable business performance. The research also establishes the beneficial effect of adopting a digitalization strategy on business performance and innovation. Market-driven business model innovation emerges as a critical factor, not only driving sustainable performance but also serving as a mediating link between various digital strategies and business success. Moreover, the study highlights the importance of digital leadership capabilities, further strengthening the relationship between innovative business models and sustainable performance. The findings underscore the synergistic effect of digital competencies and strategic digitalization in promoting sustainable and innovative practices in today's digital-driven business landscape.
In recent years, the unprecedented growth in environmental vulnerabilities has made the firms realize the need for environmental protection. With this, the rapid surge for ecological preservation has made worldwide businesses divert their focus toward greener practices that ensure the firm's financial and environmental performance. This study examines the relationships between green management strategies (green dynamic capabilities, internal green supply chain management and green technology adoption), and organizational outcomes, specifically environmental and financial performance. The data was collected from the 471 employees working in the manufacturing firms. Utilizing the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method via Smart-PLS, our findings show the importance of integrating green practices in supply chain management, dynamic capabilities, and technology adoption to enhance both environmental and financial outcomes under the moderating role of industry dynamism and green knowledge acquisition.
N-(Substituted)-5-(1-(4-methoxyphenylsulfonyl)piperidin-4-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio) acetamide were synthesized by following conventional as well as microwave assisted protocol through five consecutive steps under the impact of various reaction conditions to control the reaction time and the yield of product. Starting from 4-methoxybenzenesulfonyl chloride and ethyl isonipecotate, product 3 was obtained which was converted into product 4 by treating with hydrazine hydrate. In step 3, the product 4 was refluxed with methyl isothiocyanate and KOH to yield compound 5 which was finally treated with variety of N-substituted acetamides to yield an array of different new compounds (8a-k). These synthesized compounds were evaluated for their inhibition potential against bovine carbonic anhydrase (bCA-II), acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) enzymes. Compound 8g demonstrated good activity against bCA-II, AChE and BChE with IC50 values of 8.69 ± 0.38 μM, 11.87±0.19 μM and 26.01±0.55 μM respectively. SAR studies assisted with molecular docking were carried out to explore the mode of binding of the compounds against the studied enzymes.
