Abstract

The Asia-Pacific Leukemia Consortium (APLC) working group for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (APLC ALLWG) recognized the critical need for standardized approaches to measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment and management in adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This paper presents consensus statements from APLC ALLWG experts addressing three key areas: (i) MRD assessment technologies and platforms; (ii) optimal timing for MRD evaluation across different patient populations; and (iii) clinical management strategies based on MRD levels. These evidence-based recommendations provide hematologists throughout the Asia-Pacific region with a structured framework for interpreting MRD data and making informed decisions to improve clinical outcomes in adult ALL patients.
