    A measurement of the W boson pair production cross section in proton-proton collisions at [Formula: see text] TeV is presented. The data collected with the CMS detector at the LHC correspond to an integrated luminosity of 19.4[Formula: see text]. The [Formula: see text] candidates are selected from events with two charged leptons, electrons or muons, and large missing transverse energy. The measured [Formula: see text] cross section is [Formula: see text], consistent with the standard model prediction. The [Formula: see text] cross sections are also measured in two different fiducial phase space regions. The normalized differential cross section is measured as a function of kinematic variables of the final-state charged leptons and compared with several perturbative QCD predictions. Limits on anomalous gauge couplings associated with dimension-six operators are also given in the framework of an effective field theory.     Objectives: To study the effects of a faith-based smoking cessation intervention during Ramadan among Malay male smokers working in public offices. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study conducted during Ramadan 2015. The intervention was developed based on the constructs within the Theory of Planned Behaviour. The intervention intended to increase the intention and the perceived behaviour control to stop smoking among Muslim smokers during Ramadan. The outcomes measured were changes in the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence score and saliva cotinine levels. Data were collected at baseline (5 days before Ramadan), during Ramadan (21st day of Ramadan) and post-Ramadan (21 days after Ramadan).     adventure recreation is increasing in popularity in recent years. However, out of the 13
    million people who participated in outdoor recreation activities globally, 12 million are no
    longer participated in these activities due to low satisfaction of the acitivity, which includes
    the implementation of activities, environment and facilities provided (Outdoor Industry
    Foundation, 2013). This study aims to understand the patterns of participation, specifically in
    whitewater rafting activity by identifying the motivation factor and the satisfaction level of
    participants. It also examines the relationship between motivation and satisfaction in
    whitewater rafting activity. Recreation Experience Preferences Scale (REP) was used to
    identify the motivation factors, while Leisure Satisfaction Scale was employed to assess the
    level of satisfaction in whitewater rafting activity. The respondents consisted of 404 people
    who participated in whitewater rafting in Kampar River, Perak. Mean, standard deviation and
    Pearson Correlation were used to answer the research questions. Results showed that
    elements of nature, excitement and sociability as the main motivation in the activities of
    whitewater rafting. Higher satisfaction levels were recorded in the aesthetic, psychological
    and social. This study revealed that there is a positive relationship between participants‟
    motivation and satisfaction in whitewater rafting activity. In conclusion, the motivation
    factors that encourage participants to participate in whitewater rafting activity may not
    necessarily be the same factors that contribute to participants‟ satisfaction. Therefore, the
    operators of the activity and the related parties need to identify factors that contribute to
    satisfaction of aesthetic, psychological and social in whitewater rafting activity to ensure
    higher satisfaction in participation of this activity.

    focus on attention has consistently demonstrated that an external focus (movement effect)
    enhances motor performance and learning relative to an internal focus (body movements).
    However, the effectiveness of the external focus direction and internal focus on the press
    behind neck lift not yet again compared among the weightlifter. Therefore, the aim of this
    study was to identify the three conditions (external focus, internal focus and control) that
    brings the best performance in the press behind neck. Besides that, a total of 30 athletes
    Selangor weightlifters performed the pre-test before they are divided into treatment groups
    (external focus and internal focus) and a control group. There are changes in the score in
    force between the test scores (pre, post and retention test) and the group will be analyzed
    using Two Way ANOVA Repeated Measure. The results showed that, there are the main
    effect of testing, F(2, 54) = 1671.065 p = 0.001 means there is a significant difference
    between pre-test and post-test . There is a main effect for group, F (2, 27) = 16,646, p =
    0.001. Meanwhile, there was a significant interaction between the test group f (4. 54) =
    378,732 p = 0.001. There are no significant differences between the three groups during the
    pre-test. However, in the post-test found an external focus groups (M = 51.5 kg, SP = 7.4)
    and an internal focus group (M = 49.5kg, SP = 6.6) is better and has significant differences to
    the control group (M = 30.5kg, SP= 6.9). Besides that, the external focus group retention test
    (M= 59.5 kg, SP=6.0) is better and has a significant difference compared with internal focus
    (M= 43.2kg, SP = 5.9) and the control group (M= 30.1, SP = 6.3). Therefore, the overall
    direction of a focus of external forces show better performance compared to focus on internal
    and groups are not given any specific instructions for long term programme.

    The therapeutic potential of Cassia surattensis in reducing free radical-induced oxidative stress and inflammation particularly in hepatic diseases was evaluated in this study. The polyphenol rich C. surattensis seed extract showed good in vitro antioxidant. C. surattensis seed extract contained total phenolic content of 100.99 mg GAE/g dry weight and there was a positive correlation (r > 0.9) between total phenolic content and the antioxidant activities of the seed extract. C. surattensis seed extract significantly (p < 0.05) reduced the elevated levels of serum liver enzymes (ALT, AST, and ALP) and relative liver weight in paracetamol-induced liver hepatotoxicity in mice. Moreover, the extract significantly (p < 0.05) enhanced the antioxidant enzymes and glutathione (GSH) contents in the liver tissues, which led to decrease of malondialdehyde (MDA) level. The histopathological examination showed the liver protective effect of C. surattensis seed extract against paracetamol-induced histoarchitectural alterations by maximum recovery in the histoarchitecture of the liver tissue. Furthermore, histopathological observations correspondingly supported the biochemical assay outcome, that is, the significant reduction in elevated levels of serum liver enzymes. In conclusion, C. surattensis seed extract enhanced the in vivo antioxidant status and showed antihepatotoxic activities, which is probably due to the presence of phenolic compounds.

    to identify the differences in academic achievement between athletes involved in Karnival
    Kokurikulum Sukan antara Kolej Matrikulasi (KAKOM) and non-athletes in Labuan
    Matriculation College. Overall 200 respondents selected athletes are students from KAKOM
    athletes (n=100) and non-athlete students (n=100) in Semester 1, 2015/2016. The survey
    design and purposely sampling technique was used for data collection. The respondents are
    comprised of students majoring in Accounting, One Year Program (PST) Module 1, PST
    Module 2 and PST Module 3. Descriptive statistic was used to obtain frequency and
    percentage for each of the variables and to determine the level of academic achievement
    (CGPA) of athletes and non-athletes. Inferential statistic was used to compare the mean
    scores achieved by cumulative grade point average (CGPA) between KAKOM athletes and
    non-athletes based on t-test. T test was also used to identify the differences in academic
    performance of athletes and non-athletes based on gender. The findings of this study showed
    no significant differences in terms of academic achievement among student who are athletes
    and non-athletes. Similarly, the findings of the performance of athletes and non-athletes
    based on gender showed no significant differences. From the results of this study, it shows
    that there are no differences in academic achievement between students who involved in
    KAKOM sports and those who dont involved. The researcher suggests that students should
    be active in sports and recreational activities during college because it will be beneficial for
    health and indirectly develop their soft skills. The study found that sports factor is not the
    cause for deterioration in academic achievement but there are other factors that affect
    academic performance which needs further study focusing more on students who are failing
    academically.

    The implementation of the 1 Student 1 Sport Policy (D1M1S) focuses on the involvement of students who are less active in sports activities in order to polish and further developed their talent potential. It is
    believed that the responsibility and the role of teachers are vital in ensuring the implementation of D1M1S conducted at the school level. However, the use of teachers as executors in ensuring that this policy is carried out must be studied and identified to achieve the goal of D1M1S besides improving the quality of work to a higher level. This study was conducted to identify the implementation level of D1M1S among teachers in secondary schools in Kluang, Johor, implementation of D1M1S based on gender differences and category of school and existing relationships such as elements of skill, understanding,
    commitment and sports facilities. The key success of D1M1S implementation is closely
    related to the teachers as executors. This study was carried out on 389 secondary school
    teachers in Kluang, Johor. Questionnaire containing 36 items was developed and
    administered to measure the elements of skill, commitment, understanding and sport
    facilities. Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient value of the instrument was 0.95. The data
    were analysed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation and frequency) and
    inferential analysis (independent samples t-test and Pearson correlation). The findings
    showed high level of understanding towards D1M1S while the elements of skill, commitment
    and sports facilities were at a moderate level. In addition, there were significant difference in
    terms of mean scores reported for the implementation of D1M1S based on the genders of the

    conducted to determine the relationship between lower body muscle architectures and lunges
    performance. Thirty recreationally active, untrained men (mean age = 22.21 ± 1.59 yrs old)
    were recruited and involved in two testing sessions; i) anthropometrics and muscle
    architecture, and ii) multiple-repetition maximum (RM) lunge test. Muscle thickness,
    pennation angle and fascicle length of vastus lateralis (VL), vastus medialis (VM), rectus
    femoris (RF) and biceps femoris (BF) were analysed using ultrasonography. Multiple-RM
    lunge testing was used as an estimation of 1RM lunges performance. Correlation analysis was
    used to determine the relationship between lower body muscle architectures and lunges
    performance calculated absolutely and relatively (1RM/body mass). The overall results
    showed that muscle thickness and pennation angle of all muscles were significantly positive
    correlated with lunges performance. However, fascicle length was shown to be negatively
    correlated with lunges performance. Findings of this study suggested the important for having
    thicker, more pennated and shorter fascicle of lower body muscle in enhancing lunges
    performances that is one of the most specific movements in sport.

    examine the effectiveness of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) programmes offered by the
    Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching in producing quality graduates and their
    employability in the profession. Samples for this study comprised of 49 graduates from the B
    Ed (Sports Science), 25 graduates from B Ed (Coaching Science) and nine B Ed (Physical
    Education) who have graduated from 2010 to 2014 as well as their respective employers and
    peers were selected as respondents. Six to ten samples from each programme together with
    their employers were interviewed further using guided questionnaire. Data was analysed
    descriptively as well as correlation and regression methods. The findings showed that the
    graduates mastered very high levels of the knowledge and skills of the courses related to their
    respective programmes. They also achieved excellent levels of knowledge and skills in the
    implementation of their respective programmes during and after their completion of studies.
    The graduates received very high scores from their employers and peers in terms of their
    attributes and employability. Overall, analyses on the effectiveness of the faculty‟s education
    programmes showed a positive and significant correlation between the mastery (input) and
    the implementation (process) of the programmes. However, a moderately positive but not
    significant correlation was found between the mastery (input) of the courses and the
    graduates (product). Similar results were found between the implementation of the
    programmes (process) and the graduates except for the BEd.(Sports Science) which showed a
    moderate positive and significant correlation. Only 23% predicted mastery of the course
    (input) and the implementation of the programme influenced the product (graduates) towards
    the effective implementation of the BEd (Sports Science), compared to 20% for BEd
    (Coaching Science) and 98% for BEd (Physical Education). This study concluded that
    Bachelor of Education (Honours) programmes offered by the Faculty of Sports Science and
    Coaching are capable of producing quality and employable graduates. The faculty has
    developed its strategic plan in improving the employability of the graduates by streamlining
    the offering of the BEd (Coaching Science) programme, reinforce the undergraduates soft
    skills attributes, intensify the activities of the Kinesiology Centre of Excellence and advocate entrepreneurship education in order to produce graduates who are innovative and capable in the education profession.

    used to investigate the differences in the force - velocity (f-v) profile in movement that is
    more a sport-specific than isolated exercises such as open chain leg extension. However,
    squat jumps involve multi-joint movement, making it questionable which muscle is the main
    contributor for the movement. The main aim of this study is to develop a test of isolated knee
    extension that encompasses the entire range of human f-v relationship and to investigate the
    correlation between linear encoder and kinematic measurement of angular velocity using a
    camera system during unloaded kicking. One healthy male subject volunteered to participate
    in the study and performed 10 unloaded kicks (knee extension). A cuff was strapped around
    the lower leg, approximately 2 cm above the medial malleoli and connected to a linear
    velocity encoder (MuscleLab Ergotest version 4010, Norway). During the test sessions, threedimensional
    motion analysis was performed with an Oqus Motion Capture System (Qualisys,
    Sweden). Data were transferred to Windows-based data acquisition software (Qualisys Track
    Manager). There was a positive linear relationship (r = 0.94). The unloaded kicking test to
    determine maximum angular velocity at knee extension measured using the QTM showed
    that the mean angular velocity was 362˚.s-1, with the highest value being 528˚.s-1. This
    preliminary study suggests isokinetic dynamometry (IKD) can be used to investigate the
    entire range of velocities (i.e isometric – velocity maximum) of knee extension in normal
    human subjects. Further studies can examine the use of IKD in measuring higher velocities.

    study was to determine the number of familiarisation sessions required for isokinetic knee
    extension and flexion in female varsity athletes. Thirty right footed dominance female varsity
    athletes (n=30; age: 21.73 ±0.22 years, body mass index (BMI): 22.58 ±0.52 kg/m2), with no
    history of knee injuries were recruited. The design started with either with the dominant or
    non-dominant limb, followed by the opposite limb. Four sets of isokinetic maximal voluntary
    contraction at 60 o/s were performed for each limb. The results showed that for knee
    extension regardless of which limb starts first is 2 sessions, however for knee flexion, 3
    sessions is required for dominant limb while 2 for non-dominant. In addition, the presence of
    cross-education effect is observed for knee flexion from non-dominant to dominant limb,
    where the number of session was reduced from three to two. In conclusion, we propose that
    two sessions of familiarisation are required for female varsity athletes and should begin with the non-dominant limb followed by dominant limb.

    The purpose of this study was to identify whether a novice teachers have a self-esteem while teaching physical education. This study access the level of self-esteem among novice teachers between gender and option teachers teach in physical education. This study is a quantitative research survey and this study design is selected using questionnaires based on Rosenberg self-esteem scale for collecting data. 30 novice physical education teachers have been selected from one of the schools in the district of Sepang, Selangor. 15 males and 15 female teachers were randomly selected from the target group. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 22.0 for frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation and independent sample t-test to measure the level of self-esteem of teachers with the dependent variable. The study found that there was no significant difference between the level of self-esteem between genders. While in terms of options, there are significant differences in the level of self-esteem for non-option physical education teachers. The self-esteem level among novice teachers are very important to enhance the quality of learning, especially in the subjects of physical education.

    to assess health related physical fitness of MSKPPM soccer players (Veteran Category).
    Besides that, this study also aims to see whether there is any differences based on the health
    related components of physical fitness according to age group. The samples of this study were
    40 soccer players who were involved in a selection, aged between 40 to 49 years. Test battery
    used in this study is Prudential FITNESSGRAM® by Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research
    (1992) which includes PACER 20 meter Multistage run, push up, curl up, trunk lift and body
    mass index (BMI). Data analysis showed that there is significant difference on the different
    components of health related physical fitness for the different age groups. Age 40-41, Pacer
    [min: 24.66; SD: 2.88], curl up [min:33.33; SD: 5.20], push up [min: 46.83; SD: 3.65], trunk
    lift [min: 43.16;SD: 13.58] and BMI [min:42.46; SD: 5.99]. Age 42-43, Pacer [min: 24.38; SD:

    determine the validity and reliability of Learning Assessment Model for Invasion Category
    Games in Year 4 Physical Education. This study uses a holistic instrument for assessing
    student performance standards for the assessment of Invasion Category Games that includes
    teacher observation that consisted of psychomotor, cognitive and affective domain.
    Measuring instruments were constructed based on five main sources that were the Handbook
    of Physical Education Teaching, Curriculum and Assessment Document Standard of Physical
    Education, Physical Education textbooks, Professional Circular No. 1/2014 and the Malaysia
    Education Blueprint 2013-2025. All sources are used as a guide and reference so that the
    instruments to assess are built in conformity with the requirements and needs of physical
    education. The study found that the validity of the instrument Learning Assessment Model
    for the invasion category games is high for both the legality of the process. The reliability of
    the instruments Learning Assessment Model for the offensive category game between the two
    testers for the achievement level of students learning in the three domains showed a strong
    relationship. Based on the findings, this Learning Assessment Model is suitable to be used as
    a standard instrument for assessing the level of student mastery of the Invasion Category
    Games in Physical Education. The implication of the study is Learning Assessment Model
    can become a more realistic and holistic assessment instrument and can be used to measure
    the level of students in line with school-based assessment requirements as outlined in the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025.

    provide information to the team manager, especially at the university level to understand the
    relationship between coaching style and mental toughness among athletes. The sample had
    been selected from four Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) football team consisting of 88
    players (n = 88: 22 players per team). The study used two instruments that had been modified
    namely "Leadership Scale for Sports Questionnaire" (LSS-40), (Chelladurai & Salleh, 1980)
    and "The Mental Toughness Questionnaire" (MTQ-48), (Clough, Earle & Sewell, 2002).
    Research findings had identified UiTM’s football team scores has a moderately high level of
    mental toughness for each dimension known as challenge, commitments, control assurance
    and confidence. The study also found that the leadership style of training and instruction was
    favored by UiTM’s footballer compared to the autocratic leadership style. Overall, the study
    found a significant relationship between the leadership style with mental toughness especially

    relationship between leadership style of democratic, social support and positive response to
    the mental toughness dimension of confidence. As for the coaching style of training and
    instruction also has a moderately relationship to the mental toughness dimensions of
    challenge. Results of this study showed that the leadership style affects the level of mental
    toughness UiTM’s football teams. Furthermore, the coaches need to figure out the best
    coaching style in order to improve mental toughness among football team.

    A search for a massive resonance [Formula: see text]decaying into a W and a Higgs boson in the [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text], [Formula: see text]) final state is presented. Results are based on data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7[Formula: see text] of proton-proton collisions at [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text], collected using the CMS detector at the LHC. For a high-mass ([Formula: see text]1[Formula: see text]) resonance, the two bottom quarks coming from the Higgs boson decay are reconstructed as a single jet, which can be tagged by placing requirements on its substructure and flavour. Exclusion limits at 95 % confidence level are set on the production cross section of a narrow resonance decaying into WH, as a function of its mass. In the context of a little Higgs model, a lower limit on the [Formula: see text] mass of 1.4[Formula: see text] is set. In a heavy vector triplet model that mimics the properties of composite Higgs models, a lower limit on the [Formula: see text] mass of 1.5[Formula: see text] is set. In the context of this model, the results are combined with related searches to obtain a lower limit on the [Formula: see text] mass of 1.8[Formula: see text], the most restrictive to date for decays to a pair of standard model bosons.

    Jet multiplicity distributions in top quark pair ([Formula: see text]) events are measured in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7[Formula: see text]. The measurement is performed in the dilepton decay channels ([Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text]). The absolute and normalized differential cross sections for [Formula: see text] production are measured as a function of the jet multiplicity in the event for different jet transverse momentum thresholds and the kinematic properties of the leading additional jets. The differential [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] cross sections are presented for the first time as a function of the kinematic properties of the leading additional [Formula: see text] jets. Furthermore, the fraction of events without additional jets above a threshold is measured as a function of the transverse momenta of the leading additional jets and the scalar sum of the transverse momenta of all additional jets. The data are compared and found to be consistent with predictions from several perturbative quantum chromodynamics event generators and a next-to-leading order calculation.

    BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study was to compare the adaptation of fiber reinforced composite post system and cast post-and-core.

    METHODS: 17 extracted human permanent maxillary central incisors were endodontically treated following the standard protocol. 17 fiber reinforced composite post had been fabricated and adapted to the prepared parallel root canals. A light body poly vinyl siloxane (EXAMIX NDS, Japan) impression material was inserted into the root canals followed by the post. A digital scale was used to measure the weight of the remaining material that filled the gap between the post and the canal wall. The adaptation was indicated by the weight difference before and after impression material insertion. The same procedures were repeated with 17 cast post-and-core in the same teeth specimens.

    RESULT: The mean difference for the weight of the material within the group was statistically significant (P-value <0.001) with the value of 6.1mg(± 2.7mg) for cast metal post and 6.4mg(± 2.7mg) for fiber reinforced composite post. However, the mean difference was not statistically significant when compared with both materials (P-value>0.05).

    CONCLUSIONS: Both cast post-and-core and fiber reinforced composite post systems showed similar adaptation to the canal.
