    This concept paper discusses instructional leadership of administrator, school effectiveness and
    organizational culture in inner rural of Sarawak. Instructional leadership is the most reliable in
    education field. Leadership could directly impact the performance of the organization. In the context
    of this study, the organization is a Government-owned school. Thus the effectiveness of a school are
    influenced leadership practiced by administrators and civilization rooted in the school. Instructional
    leadership is given a priority in development plan Education 2013-2025 in five shifts to accommodate
    high-impact leaders in school. Education also did not miss in National Transformation 2020-2050 that
    is access to high quality education. Instructional leadership refers to the practice of administrator in
    giving guidance to teachers and students to improve and enhance the performance of the self and the
    school as a whole, whether in the areas of curriculum and co-curriculum. This performance will lead to school effectiveness from two major areas of the successfulness of students aspiration. However, there
    are other factors that play a role in performance improvements, that is the influence of organization
    culture formed under the leadership of the administrator.

    Entrepreneurship showed an increase in the popularity of business education, engineering education,
    universities and educational institutions. All students who engage in entrepreneurial education has the
    potential to develop their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge. However, the majority of
    entrepreneurial education program focused on the exploitation of existing opportunities and assume
    that these opportunities have been identified. Research on entrepreneurship also shows that efficiency
    is often ignored or receive little attention while teaching entrepreneurship. This article was developed
    to assist in improving the understanding of the concept of learning which supports entrepreneurship
    and the development of entrepreneurial competence.

    This research discusses about the integration of muhasabah concept and scaling question
    technique. The integration is made based on the integrative model combining Western and
    Islamic approaches. For Islamic approach, the concept of muhasabah is explained. Muhasabah
    is one of the concepts introduced in Al-Ghazali’s Tazkiyyah Annafs approach. Muhasabah in
    this research is a process of self-evaluation that leads to client’s actions. Two opinions about
    muhasabah is reviewed in this research; which are the opinions of Ibnu Qayyim and Al-
    Ghazali. From the Western approach, the technique of scaling question is elaborated. Scaling
    question technique is one of the questioning techniques in Solution Focused Brief Therapy
    (SFBT). This technique explains about the importance of measuring method using numbers in
    the process of self-evaluation that leads to change. Next, the integration between muhasabah
    concept and scaling question technique are examined.

    Racial polarisation issues in public higher learning institutions has long been debated and continues to
    exist even with the many effort for unity seen through nation’s education policies. Despite the
    existence of opportunities for students to interact with the other ethnic throughout their studies, their
    social relation was relatively moderate. Past findings suggested further studies be made to the factors
    contributing to racial polarisation and that there should be a platform which encouraged students to
    cooperate and enabled them to reached a common ground. The objective of this paper is to do a
    preliminary survey on inter-ethnic dialogue which could become a platform in enhancing good social
    relation between students of different ethnics in public and private universities. A successful interethnic
    dialogue must include the four dimension of social relation: assimilation, amalgamation,
    acculturation and accommodation, with which the social relation in Malaysia revolves, contributed
    primarily by its historical and political factors.

    The Textile Industry of Pakistan is considered as life line of country’s economy. It accounts around
    55% share of total economy. Major exports from textiles are yarns, raw and finished fabrics and also
    limited quantity of value added textile items. However from last one decade textile industry is facing
    lot of problems in terms of getting and maintaining export orders. Most of customers globally now
    giving preferences to other regional competitors. Due to this Pakistani Textile Industry losing its
    competitiveness day by day which resulted loss in millions of US Dollars per years. The raw woven
    fabric manufacturing sector that lies almost in middle of supply line having sharing of 8% in world
    exports. The performance of this value added product responsible also overall performance of sector.
    The literature review on internal factors specifically related to this sector still in gap which author tries
    to cover up. The literature review delineated accordingly with respect to internal factors such as
    product types, innovations, energy cost, inventory and green textile concepts which gives effect on
    export performance of weaving industry.

    Methodology is compulsory in research study that involve with the process of design,
    application, and analysis. The literature review was conducted to describe the relationship of
    sampling area, sample size, and determination of the measurement scale. The sample size can
    be determined through formula (or equation). When sample size are applied in sampling area,
    probability and non-probability sampling will be involve in determining the quantity and
    quality of data collection for research. Random probability sampling is divided into simple
    random, systematic, stages random, various stages random, and grouping; while nonprobability
    sampling can be divided into chance, aimed, quota, snowball, dimensional, critical cases, and maximum variation. Next, the measurement scale can be determined through
    normal, ordinal interval and ratio in questionnaire or interview, which all four scales will be
    determine measurements such as Likert scale, Thurstone scale, Guttman scale, and the
    difference procedures of Sematics scale in carrying out an analysis research. Therefore, the
    sample size and sampling area, and also the choice of measurement scale is important in the
    methodology for smoothing and accelerating the process of collecting and gathering data.

    study is categorized into qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research refer to a studies
    require careful observation, while quantitative research refers to a studies involve in statistics.
    Qualitative and quantitative research study can be determined through primary and secondary data.
    Primary data is defined as data that comes from original or the first source, while secondary data is
    defined as data that has been collected by other researchers. Primary data can be categorized into
    active and passive. Active primary data can be divided into direct interview (through face to face
    between researcher and respondents) and interviewed indirectly (e.g. by phone, mail, technology),
    while passive primary data involve with structured and secret characteristic, structured and open
    characteristic, unstructured and secret characteristic, unstructured and open characteristic. Secondary
    data involves with writing (journals, books, magazines, past records, reports and documents, internet, theses, short stories, newspaper), as well as vision and hearing (speeches, movies and videos, songs,
    stories). Even secondary data has its advantages and disadvantages, but both secondary and primary
    data are depend on each other in solving the society problems through the achievement of the
    objectives or hyphotheses in a research study.

    Research study is an academic methods applied in real world in solving problems associated with the
    society. The research process in achieving objectives of study will have a complete framework
    including methodology. Methodology can be defined as method used to collec and compile data
    through effective procedures in resulting the study problems. Methodology is divided into three stages,
    namely the planning process, application process, and analysis process. This literature review of
    methodology framework prioritizes on the planning process that involve with research study design,
    which can be divided into an experimental and non-experimental. Experimental methods can be
    categorized into real-experimental studies and quasi-experimental studies. Meanwhile, nonexperimental
    can be divided into experimental survey, field studies, case studies, action studies and
    historical studies. Mostly experimental methods are used in pure science and non-experimental methods used in social sciences. However, both methods are still relevant to be applied into certain
    areas of study in order to achieve the objectives and hypothesis. Therefore, the methodology are
    compulsory to be designed and applied properly, precisely and accurately so that the process of
    collecting data in the period of before, during and after collection will not involve with ant errors,
    mistakes and carelessness that may affect the research study.

    The issue of aggressive behaviour is often the subject of serious discussion amongst discipline teachers and school counselors. From the Islamic perspective, aggressive behaviour is caused by the lack of Islamic values in aspects of student interaction at schools. Thus, the readiness of discipline teachers and school counselors to tap into the skills and knowledge of counseling using the Islamic approach is crucial in realizing the outlined educational development plan. This concept paper aims to enhance the effectiveness of Islamic counseling based on Abdullah Nasih Ulwan’s views in addressing aggressive behaviour among school students. The methodology of the study is in the form of literature reviews by examining books, journals and previous studies related to the topic of discussion. The study has found that there are 4 ways of dealing with aggressive behaviours among secondary school students based on Abdullah Nasih Ulwan’s view which are the responsibility of faith education, the responsibility of educating the mind, the responsibility of educating the mind awareness and the responsibility of educating the soul. The guidelines above should be utilized by school counselors in handling the issue of aggressive behaviours amongst school students.

    The study was conducted to determine the level of utility which is the satisfaction of form 6 teachers in
    Sabah. The utility level of work is dependent variable and pressure and personality is an independent
    variable. This study was carried out using questionnaires instruments. This study involving 340 Form
    Six teachers comprising Tawau, Semporna, Lahad Datu, Sandakan and Kota Kinabalu districts out of
    1320 Form six teacher population in Sabah. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package For
    Science (SPSS) version 23.0 to get the accurate results.

    Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk mengenalpasti secara terperinci tentang kursus kokurikulum
    berteraskan pembelajaran servis (CSL) dan kecenderungan pemilihan kursus mengikut persepktif
    pelajar diploma di Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (UTMKL). Kepentingan dalam
    berkokurikulum sangat penting dalam mengukuhkan sifat insaniah dalam diri seorang pelajar yang
    cemerlang. Kajian ini melibatkan 406 responden daripada 1,904 jumlah populasi pelajar diploma
    UTMKL. Data dikumpul melalui instrumen borang soal selidik yang diedarkan kepada pelajar diploma
    UTMKL. Analisis kajian mendapati terdapat pelbagai jenis kokurikulum dibahagikan mengikut empat
    (4) kluster masing-masing yang dikenal pasti bagi objektif pertama. Objektif kedua pula adalah
    mengenal pasti kecenderungan pelajar terhadap pilihan kursus CSL ini. Didapati bahawa kursus yang
    berteraskan kesukarelawan mencatatkan kecenderungan yang paling tinggi. Manakala skor kursus
    Memanah dari kluster sukan, rekreasi dan kebudayaan pula mencatatkan skor pelajar yang paling tinggi
    kecerungan pelajarnya. Kesimpulannya, walaupun jumlah respondan hanya 21.32% dari bilangan
    populasi yang memberikan maklumbalas kepada kajian ini, namun ia dapat memberikan indikator
    kepada kecenderungan pemilihan kursus CSL mengikut persektif pelajar diploma UTMKL. Hasil
    daripada kajian ini boleh digunapakai dalam membuat perancangan penawaran kursus CSL mengikut
    pilihan dan kehendak pelajar.

    Kajian tentang ‘menelusuri watak-watak wanita dalam kumpulan cerpen ‘Ammavuku’; satu kajian subaltern’ ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti kedudukan watak wanita dalam sistem patriarki seperti yang digambarkan oleh Saras dalam kumpulan cerpennya ‘Ammavuku’. Kajian ini dapat menjawab persoalan tentang kedudukan wanita-wanita subaltern dalam sesebuah organisasi keluarga. Kajian ini dijalankan menggunakan kaedah kualitatif dan dihuraikan secara deskriptif. Kaedah kajian kepustakaan dibuat untuk mengkumpul maklumat dan data yang berkaitan dalam kajian ini. Bahan – bahan rujukan dalam buku, jurnal, internet, serta perpustakaan daripada beberapa institut pengajian tinggi awam telah dikaji untuk mengambil maklumat dan data dengan terperinci. Kaedah kepustakaan digunakan secara menyeluruh dalam kajian ini. Kajian Subaltern dalam cerpen Saras meliputi hak-hak wanita yang ditindas oleh golongan lelaki dalam kehidupan seharian mereka. Hak wanita yang dikaji dari segi kedudukan wanita sebagai seorang ibu, isteri dan anak. Penelitian terhadap teori subaltern dalam kumpulan cerpen ‘Ammavuku’ akan menjadi suatu kesedaran bagi masalah yang dihadapi oleh kaum wanita dalam institusi kekeluargaan.

    Kemiskinan merupakan satu fenomena yang dialami oleh seseorang individu tanpa kerelaan dan kehendak mereka. Kemiskinan boleh dikategorikan kepada dua jenis iaitu material dan bukan material. Miskin material terdiri daripada miskin pendapatan dan bukan pendapatan iaitu pendidikan, akses kepada kesihatan, pekerjaan dan kemudahan awam. Manakala miskin bukan material ialah berkait berkenaan ciri-ciri sahsiah seperti emosi, psikologi dan rohani. Kesemua keadaan yang berlaku ini menyebabkan seseorang yang miskin mengalami kesukaran untuk keluar dari situasi kemiskinan sekiranya tiada tindakan yang dilakukan oleh pihak bertanggungjawab. Pengukuran kemiskinan adalah langkah awal dalam mengenal pasti golongan miskin. Terdapat dua jenis iaitu pengukuran kemiskinan undimensi yang melihat kemiskinan dari sudut pendapatan sahaja dan pengukuran kemiskinan multidimensi yang melihat pada aspek holistik serta kemanusiaan. Terdapat banyak kelemahan pada pengukuran unidimensi kerana ia hanya mengukur kemiskinan dari perspektif pendapatan sahaja. Hal ini sudah tentulah tidak komprehensif dalam pengenalpastian golongan yang miskin. Oleh itu pengukuran kemiskinan multidimensi akan diterokai bagi memahami dengan lebih lanjut seperti perbezaannya dengan pengukuran unidimensi dan mengapakah Indeks Kemiskinan Multidimensi (IKM) adalah pengukur kemiskinan yang paling sesuai lagi berkesan. Kajian ini menggunakan data sekunder sebagai metodologi kajian. Hasil kajian ini dijangka bukan sahaja boleh mengetahui berapa ramai yang miskin dan peratusannya, malahan kita juga boleh mengetahui dimensi penyumbang utama kepada masalah kemiskinan. Melalui pengukuran ini, sesuatu program atau pemberian insentif dapat disalurkan dengan tepat kepada kumpulan sasaran.

    “Fenomena anarki” telah mempengaruhi kebanyakan negara untuk memberikan tumpuan dan
    perhatian terhadap pembangunan Angkatan ketenteraan bagi menjamin keselamatan untuk tujuan
    kelangsungan hidup. Manakala merujukkan kepada teori neo-realisme, teori ini mengatakan dilema
    keselamatan sebagai situasi yang sentiasa ada ancaman yang cuba untuk menggugat keselamatan
    negara mahupun ianya dari bentuk unsur ancaman tradisional mahupun dari unsur dari ancaman bukan
    dari tradisional. Akibat dari senario keselamatan dan sifat anarki dalam sistem antarabangsa, keadaan
    ini akan menyebabkan negara perlu bergantung pada diri sendiri untuk kelangsungan hidup. Ini
    merujuk kepada konsep self help atau self reliance di mana setiap negara mempunyai kepentingan
    negara mereka tersendiri dalam meneruskan kelangsungan hidup dalam sistem antarabangsa. Melihat
    dari sudut Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM,) perspektif pembangunan dan pemodenan ATM semasa
    era Perang Dingin dan Pasca Perang Dingin ternyata mempunyai perubahan yang signifikan di mana
    pembangunan ATM sebelum tahun 1990 lebih bersifat konvensional dan pasca Perang Dingin
    memperlihatkan pembangunan ATM bersifat lebih strategik.

    Kertas konsep ini bertujuan untuk membincangkan mengenai kepimpinan instruktional dalam kalangan Penyelia Pendidikan awal kanak-kanak dan kepuasan kerja guru Tabika/Taska KEMAS. Dalam era globlalisasi yang pesat dengan pembangunan teknologi alam maya, pemimpin dan peneraju pendidikan awal kanak-kanak perlu mempunyai kompetensi seiring dengan tranformasi pendidikan yang telah dirancang. Kepimpinan instruktional dalam kalangan Penyelia Operasi Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak Jabatan Kemajuan Masyarakat KEMAS perlu di implementasikan untuk mencapai tahap kepimpinan optimum yang selaras dengan Standard Kualiti Prasekolah Kebangsaan. Kajian tinjauan ini dilaksanakan bagi tujuan untuk mengenalpasti tahap kepimpinan instruksional Penyelia Operasi Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak dan hubunganya dengan kepuasan kerja, Pemaju Masyarakat Tabika/Taska (guru) KEMAS. Seramai 24 orang Penyelia Operasi Pendidikan awal Kanak-kanak dari 24 Parlimen dan 240 Pemaju Masyarakat Tabika/Taska KEMAS di Sabah akan dipilih dalam kajian ini. Seterusnya kajian ini memberi implikasi bahawa pengaruh tahap kepimpinan Penyelia Operasi Pendidikan Awal Kanak-Kanak dan kepuasan kerja Pemaju Masyarakat Tabika/Taska amat penting untuk memastikan halatuju pendidikan awal kanak-kanak di Jabatan KEMAS.

    Kepimpinan pengetua diterokai berdasarkan atribut semula jadi yang memfokuskan ketegasan kepimpinan pengetua dalam lapan bidang amalan pengurusan di sekolah. Kerangka teoritikal adalah bersandarkan Teori The Great Man dan model pengetua berkesan diaplikasikan dalam menjalankan kajian secara kualitatif iaitu melalui kajian kes tunggal. Data kualitatif ini diperolehi dengan menemubual pengetua, barisan pentadbir, guru kanan mata pelajaran, dan guru-guru. Data kualitatif dianalisa secara manual. Dapatan menunjukkan atribut semula jadi pengetua berdasarkan aspek ketegasan adalah mencerminkan kewibawaan sikap pengetua dalam amalan pengurusannya di sekolah. Aspek ini diteliti berdasarkan tema demografi pengetua dan pandangan guru-guru. Temu bual mendalam ini menjelaskan amalan pengurusan kepimpinan pengetua dalam lapan bidang utama di sekolah didapati menyokong dapatan sebagaimana dalam teori dibangunkan serta model pengetua berkesan. Bagaimanapun, dalam menghadapi cabaran impak globalisasi, pengetua juga memerlukan sokongan daripada pelbagai pihak sama ada warga sekolah mahupun pihak luar dalam mengurus sekolah dengan lebih berkesan.

    Pada era globalisasi ini, pembangunan negara tidak dapat diseimbangkan dengan baik memandangkan pembangunan fizikal semakin lebih pesat berbanding pembangunan sosial, terutamanya di bandarbandar besar yang sedang membangun. Oleh sebab itu, pembangunan sosial haruslah diambil perhatian supaya pembangunan fizikal dan sosial dapat dibangunkan dengan seimbang dan juga seiring. Dasar Sosial negara turut memberikan penekanan kepada aspek sosial, ekonomi dan teknologi. Di Malaysia, kajian yang melibatkan pembangunan sosial kanak-kanak dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan sosial di kawasan perumahan adalah kurang diambil perhatian oleh para penyelidik. Maka, kajian ini dilakukan untuk membincangkan mengenai kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat bandar di kawasan perumahan. Kertas kerja ini membincangkan mengenai dua perkara penting dalam perancangan bandar iaitu perancangan sosial dan kesejahteraan sosial bandar. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan adalah berdasarkan kepada penelitian terhadap kajian-kajian lepas dan dan juga meneliti Pelan Struktur Sabah 2033 yang diperolehi daripada Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Wilayah negeri Sabah serta temubual berstruktur bersama pegawai Jabatan Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Wilayah negeri Sabah . Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa perancangan sosial yang baik dapat memberikan impak yang cukup besar dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat bandar. Taman permainan juga telah dikenalpasti mampu memberikan kesan positif kepada kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat bandar di kawasan perumahan. Hal ini kerana, taman permainan berperanan sebagai tempat pertemuan sosial, iaitu tempat berkumpul dan saling mengenali antara ibu bapa dan juga anak-anak jiran tertangga.

    LINUS is a program implemented by the Ministryof Education Malaysia (MOE) in Primary schools through out Malaysia. LINUS is an acronym for Literacy and Numeracy Screening which aims to increase the level of basic literacy and numeracy Among Level One (Year 1) pupils. The purpose of this studyi stoe xamine the teacher's teaching practices of LINUS-Literacy in Bahasa Malaysia. Based on the Theory of Behaviorism and Theory of Jean Piaget, LINUS teachers need tobe Innovative by utilizing techniques that match the LINUS pupils' ability in order to help The low ability pupils in mastering basic literacy skills. Data collection in this study Includes questionnaire, document analysis and observation; this researchuses Qualitative approach. The results of this study are expected to provide in put to Teachers who are teaching LINUS-Literacy in Bahasa Malaysia.

    Kajian ini memberi tumpuan terhadap salah satu kategori lakuan bahasa yang diperkenalkan oleh Searle (1969), iaitu lakuan ekspresi. Lakuan ekspresi ialah ujaran-ujaran yang menunjukkan pernyataan psikologi yang memberi gambaran tentang sikap dan perasaan penutur. Analisis kajian ini dilakukan terhadap ujaran-ujaran yang terdapat dalam 40 artikel kritikan Tun Dr. Mahathir dalam isu 1MDB. Melalui kajian ini, sebanyak lima kategori telah dikenal pasti, iaitu lakuan pernyataan, lakuan kritikan, lakuan rujukan, lakuan arahan, dan lakuan ekspresi. Namun demikian, kajian ini hanya memberi tumpuan terhadap lakuan bahasa ekspresi. Analisis mendapati lakuan ekspresi menunjukkan bilangan ujaran paling sedikit berbanding dengan kategori lakuan bahasa yang lain, iaitu sebanyak 20 kekerapan. Lakuan pernyataan mencatatkan kekerapan tertinggi, dengan jumlah kekerapan sebanyak 1302 ujaran, diikuti oleh lakuan kritikan di tempat kedua dengan kekerapan sebanyak 828. Lakuan rujukan dan lakuan arahan masing-masing dengan kekerapan sebanyak 297 dan 128. Hal ini menunjukkan bahawa Tun Dr. Mahathir melakukan kritikan tanpa mengutamakan ekspresi perasaan atau emosi. Sebanyak tujuh sublakuan ekspresi yang ditemui, iaitu lakuan bimbang, hairan, ucapan selamat, kehendak, enggan, minta maaf, dan ucapan terima kasih. Hal ini merumuskan bahawa dalam kritikan, khususnya kritikan bertulis, Tun Dr. Mahathir tidak menunjukkan ekspresi emosi yang berlebihan.
