    Global agricultural by-products usually go to waste, especially in developing countries where agricultural products are usually exported as raw products. Such waste streams, once converted to "value-added" products could be an additional source of revenue while simultaneously having positive impacts on the socio-economic well-being of local people. We highlight the utilization of thermochemical techniques to activate and convert agricultural waste streams such as rice and straw husk, coconut fiber, coffee wastes, and okara power wastes commonly found in the world into porous activated carbons and biofuels. Such activated carbons are suitable for various applications in environmental remediation, climate mitigation, energy storage, and conversions such as batteries and supercapacitors, in improving crop productivity and producing useful biofuels.

    Glycine max oil biofuel (GMOB) is a product of the transesterification of soybean oil. It contains a substantial amount of thermal energy. In this study, the result of varying fuel injection timings on the performance, ignition, and exhaust parameters of a research engine with single-cylinder, four-stroke with direct injection (DI) diesel was experimentally investigated and optimised using artificial neural networks (ANN). The results demonstrated that a 20% fuel blend with 24.5° before top dead centre (b TDC) decreased brake thermal efficiency (BTE), NOx emissions, and exhaust cylinder temperature but improved fuel consumption, carbon dioxide emissions (CDE), and smoke emissions. With 26.5° b TDC, the BTE was found to be approximately 5.0% higher while the fuel consumption was approximately 2.0% lower than with the original injection timing of 24.5° b TDC. At 26.5° b TDC, the NOx emission was approximately 8.6% higher, and the smoke emission was approximately 4.07% lower than at the original injection timing (24.5° b TDC).

    One of the key goals the feed industry emphasizes when exploring the incorporation of novel substances into animal diets is to enhance feed utilization efficiency, to bolster animal health and well-being. Fermented seaweed powder holds promise as a valuable and sustainable component of animal feed, owing to its rich nutrient profile and purported benefits for livestock and aquaculture species. This study provides some interesting and original preliminary data regarding the benefits of supplementing cats' diets with fermented dried seaweed. Using a broad investigative approach to measure and analyse multiple health benefits of feeding fermented dried macroalgae to cats as a nutritional supplement, the results of this 8-week study identified several positive health attributes related to body coat quality, nutrient digestibility, behavioural changes, a healthy gut microbiota ratio, and enhanced immunity. There were no adverse effects observed in the cats after supplementation with the fermented seaweed powder. The sample size in this study with cats should be increased, but this preliminary work showed that the seaweed-supplemented cats exhibited improvements in the measured health parameters over the control cats. As a result of this 8-week trial, key information has been provided regarding future research direction focusing on skin health application which is essential to the overall animal wellbeing.

    BACKGROUND: This study aimed to translate and culturally adapt the Assessment of Quality of Life (AQoL)-6D into Malay (Malay-AQoL-6D), and assesses the instrument's acceptability, reliability, and validity among Malaysians living with chronic heart failure (HF).

    METHODS: The translation and cross-cultural adaptation process adhered to international guidelines. The Malay-AQoL-6D underwent content and face validity assessments via expert review, and pretesting among healthy individuals and patients with chronic conditions. Subsequent psychometric validation utilised clinico-sociodemographic data and paired AQoL-6D and EQ-5D-5L data from a health-related quality-of-life (HRQoL) survey involving Malay-speaking patients with HF, which encompassed assessments of Malay-AQoL-6D acceptability, internal consistency and test-retest reliability, as well as its construct, concurrent, convergent and divergent, and known-group validity.

    RESULTS: The Malay-AQoL-6D was deemed acceptable among clinicians and local patients, achieving a 90.8% completion rate among 314 patients surveyed. The instrument demonstrated strong content validity (item-level content validity index [CVI]: 0.83-1.00, average CVI: 0.98), internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha: 0.72-0.89; MacDonald's omega: 0.82-0.90, excluding the Senses dimension), and test-retest reliability (average intraclass correlation coefficients: 0.79-0.95).     The Ministry of Health Malaysia aims to fully replace liquid-based cytology (LBC) with Human Papillomavirus (HPV) tests and increase the screening coverage from a baseline of 25% to 40% by 2023, followed by a 10% yearly increment until 70% coverage. This transition requires proper planning, including the number of tests needed and budget allocation. This study aims to simulate different transition strategies involving the shift from LBC to HPV testing with expanded screening coverage to predict their impact on cervical cancer elimination in Malaysia. A system dynamics model was developed to simulate the transition from LBC to HPV testing and HPV vaccination coverage in Malaysia. The dynamic model utilised local epidemiological data, published research, and expert opinion when data was unavailable. The simulation showed that a combination of high HPV vaccination coverage and transitioning fully to five-yearly HPV testing by 2030, coupled with a 70% screening uptake by 2040, would accelerate cancer elimination in Malaysia by 18 years with an estimated screening cost of MYR1.81 billion equivalent to USD 411 millions compared to the baseline of using LBC as the primary screening method (MYR1.39 billion, USD 315 millions). Sustained, it would lead to averting 6,000 new cancer cases by 2070. Alternatively, conducting HPV screenings twice before age 50 would advance cervical cancer elimination by 14 years and prevent approximately 1000 new cases by 2070, with an estimated cost of MYR1.13 billion equivalent to USD 257 millions. A delay in achieving the full transition prolonged the elimination more than a delay in increasing the screening coverage. In all scenarios, yearly vaccination of 90% of girls age 13 is crucial to achieving elimination. In the Malaysian context, where HPV vaccination coverage has reached considerable levels, the evidence advocates for a full transition from LBC to HPV testing, ideally by 2030. While expanding screening coverage remains a critical factor in this endeavour, the findings unequivocally endorse prioritising the transition process.     Snakebite envenomation remains an important, yet a neglected public health issue in most tropical and subtropical countries. Underdeveloped medical infrastructure, suboptimal medical services, poor documentation and failure to make snake-related injury a mandatory notifiable disease are important contributing factors. The King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is a medically significant species encountered in Malaysia however, there have been few publications from the clinical perspective. The objectives of this study were to determine the frequency of King Cobra related injuries, geographical distribution, clinical presentation, type and frequency of antivenom utilization and the management outcome. This is a cross-sectional study of confirmed King Cobra related injuries consulted to Remote Envenomation Consultation Services (RECS) from 2015 to 2020. Data were extracted from the RECS database and descriptively analyzed. A total of 32 cases of King Cobra bite were identified. Most cases were from Peninsular Malaysia with the most frequent from the state of Pahang (n = 9, 28.1%). Most patients got bitten while attempting to catch or play with the snake (68.8%). Signs and symptoms of envenomation were documented in 24 (75.0%) cases and the most frequent systemic manifestation was ptosis (n = 13, 40.6%). Tracheal intubation and ventilatory support were required in 13 (40.6%) patients. Antivenom was administered to 22 (68.8%) patients with most (25.0%) receiving 10 vials (1 dose). The commonest antivenom used was monospecific King Cobra antivenom (50.0%) from Thai Red Cross. There was one death documented due to complications from necrotizing fasciitis and septicemia. Public awareness of the dangers and proper handling of King Cobras needs to be emphasised. Timely administration of the appropriate antivenom is the definitive treatment and leads to favorable outcomes.

    BACKGROUND: Myocardial injury after a hip fracture is common and has a poor prognosis. Patients with a hip fracture and myocardial injury may benefit from accelerated surgery to remove the physiological stress associated with the hip fracture. This study aimed to determine if accelerated surgery is superior to standard care in terms of the 90-day risk of death in patients with a hip fracture who presented with an elevated cardiac biomarker/enzyme measurement at hospital arrival.

    METHODS: The HIP fracture Accelerated surgical TreaTment And Care tracK (HIP ATTACK) trial was a randomized controlled trial designed to determine whether accelerated surgery for hip fracture was superior to standard care in reducing death or major complications. This substudy is a post-hoc analysis of 1392 patients (from the original study of 2970 patients) who had a cardiac biomarker/enzyme measurement (>99.9% had a troponin measurement and thus "troponin" is the term used throughout the paper) at hospital arrival. The primary outcome was all-cause mortality. The secondary composite outcome included all-cause mortality and non-fatal myocardial infarction, stroke, and congestive heart failure 90 days after randomization.

    RESULTS: Three hundred and twenty-two (23%) of the 1392 patients had troponin elevation at hospital arrival. Among the patients with troponin elevation, the median time from hip fracture diagnosis to surgery was 6 hours (interquartile range [IQR] = 5 to 13) in the accelerated surgery group and 29 hours (IQR = 19 to 52) in the standard care group. Patients with troponin elevation had a lower risk of mortality with accelerated surgery compared with standard care (17 [10%] of 163 versus 36 [23%] of 159; hazard ratio [HR] = 0.43 [95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.24 to 0.77]) and a lower risk of the secondary composite outcome (23 [14%] of 163 versus 47 [30%] of 159; HR = 0.43 [95% CI = 0.26 to 0.72]).

    CONCLUSIONS: One in 5 patients with a hip fracture presented with myocardial injury. Accelerated surgery resulted in a lower mortality risk than standard care for these patients; however, these findings need to be confirmed.

    The stimulus-responsive regulation of enzyme catalytic activity and selectivity provides a new opportunity to extend the functionality and efficiency of immobilized enzymes. This work aims to design and synthesize a thermo-switchable enzyme@MOF for size-selective biocatalysis and biosensing through the immobilization of Candida rugosa lipase (CRL) within ZIF-8 functionalized with thermally responsive polymer, poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) (CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM). Unlike free CRL, which does not demonstrate substrate selectivity, we can reversibly tune the pore size of the ZIF-8-PNIPAM nanostructures (open pores or blocked pores) through temperature stimulus and subsequently modulate the substrate selectivity of CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM. CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM had the highest hydrolytic activity for small molecules (12 mM p-nitrophenol/mg protein/min, 4-nitrophenyl butyrate (p-NP Be)) and the lowest hydrolytic activity for large molecules (0.16 mM p-nitrophenol/mg protein/min, 4-nitrophenyl palmitate (p-NP P)). In addition, CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM demonstrated thermo-switchable behavior for large molecules (p-NP P). The p-NP P hydrolytic activity of CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM was significantly lower at 40 °C (blocked pores) than at 27 °C (open pores). However, the transition of blocked pores and open pores is a gradual process that resulted in a delay in the "thermo-switchable" catalytic behavior of CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM during thermal cycling. CRL@ZIF-8-PNIPAM was also successfully used for the fabrication of electrochemical biosensors for the selective biosensing of pesticides with different molecular sizes.

    This research project expands on previous studies to analyze the institutional image from the perspective of higher education students in Singapore. The work builds on extensive prior research and examines the impact of the recent pandemic and lockdowns in Asia, which have increased Singapore's popularity as a study destination for Asian students, particularly from China. Known as the Garden City and one of Asia's wealthiest cities, Singapore has grown significantly due to foreign direct investment and its strategic location near Malaysia and Indonesia. This study aims to identify institutional and city image dimensions in higher education, focusing on three of Singapore's six publicly funded universities. The critical factors examined include Institutional Image, Economic Image, Social Image, Environmental Image, Perceived Educational Quality, and Satisfaction and Loyalty. These factors are crucial for Singapore's goal to become an innovation and talent powerhouse by 2030, aligning with national scientific and technological advancement plans. The research also explores how Singapore competes with traditional study destinations like the USA, Britain, and Australia.

    Bladder cancer (BC) is the 10th most common tumour with a high incidence and recurrence rate worldwide; however, the current therapies present limitations as, regularly, not all patients benefit from treatment. Therefore, the search for new, active marine phenolic acids with anti-tumour properties is imperative. In this study, we subjected marine phenolic acids to in silico investigations such as network pharmacology, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics simulation (MD) to identify a plausible pathway and the lead compound that inhibits BC. According to the network pharmacology analysis, eight hub genes (PLAU, MMP2, ITGB3, MAPK1, PTPN11, ESR1, TLR4, MMP9) were found and linked to the enrichment of hsa05205: proteoglycans in cancer, and four hub genes (MMP1, MMP2, MAPK1, MMP9) were involved in the enrichment of hsa05219: BC. Subsequently, molecular docking studies showed that the marine phenolic acids exhibit a strong binding affinity for the target protein, matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MPP9). Among these 14 marine phenolic acids, chicoric acid showed the highest binding affinity of -67.1445 kcal/mol and formed hydrogen bonds with the residues of Ala189, Gln227, Leu188, His226, Ala242, Arg249, Ala191, and Gly186 in the active site of the MPP9 protein. Then, molecular dynamics simulation revealed that chicoric acid formed a stable protein-ligand complex with RMSD and RMSF values of 0.72 nm and 0.53 nm, respectively. Furthermore, the PCA method was employed to understand the dynamical behaviour in the conformational space of MPP9 protein bound to chicoric acid, and the results showed the good conformational space behaviour of MPP9 protein. Moreover, chicoric acid showed a free binding energy value of -32.62 kcal/mol, which indicated it could be a BC inhibitor. Overall, chicoric acid demonstrated potential anti-BC activity through MPP9 protein inhibition.

    Microplastic pollution is one of the most pressing global environmental problems due to its harmful effects on living organisms and ecosystems. To address this issue, researchers have explored several techniques to successfully eliminate microplastics from water sources. Chemical coagulation, electrocoagulation, magnetic extraction, adsorption, photocatalytic degradation, and biodegradation are some of the recognized techniques used for the removal of microplastics from water. In addition, membrane-based techniques encompass processes propelled by pressure or potential, along with sophisticated membrane technologies like the dynamic membrane and the membrane bioreactor. Recently, researchers have been developing advanced membranes composed of metal-organic frameworks, MXene, zeolites, carbon nanomaterials, metals, and metal oxides to remove microplastics. This paper aims to analyze the effectiveness, advantages, and drawbacks of each method to provide insights into their application for reducing microplastic pollution.

    This study explores the extraction of polysaccharides from star anise (Illicium verum Hook. f.) with its anti-obesity, antihypertensive, antidiabetic, and antioxidant properties. The aim is to optimize the extraction conditions of star anise polysaccharides (SAP) utilizing propane alcohols-based deep eutectic solvents and microwave-assisted methods. The optimized conditions resulted in an extraction yield of 5.14%. The characteristics of acidic pectin-like SAP, including high viscosity (44.86 mPa s), high oil-holding capacity (14.39%), a high degree of esterification (72.53%), gel-like properties, highly amorphous, a high galacturonic acid concentration, and a highly branching size polysaccharide structure, significantly contribute to their potent inhibition of pancreatic lipase (86.67%), angiotensin-converting enzyme (73.47%), and α-glucosidase (82.33%) activities as well as to their antioxidant properties of azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS, 34.94%) and ferric ion reducing antioxidant power (FRAP, 0.56 mM FeSO4). Therefore, SAP could be used as a potential therapeutic agent for obesity, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus management.

    PURPOSE: To document the 2-year mortality and seizure recurrence rate of a prospective cohort of patients identified with status epilepticus (SE).

    METHODS: Patients presenting to any hospital in the Auckland region between April 6 2015, and April 5 2016, with a seizure lasting 10 min or longer were identified. Follow up was at 2 years post index SE episode via telephone calls and detailed review of clinical notes.

    RESULTS: We identified 367 patients with SE over the course of one year. 335/367 (91.3 %) were successfully followed up at the 2-year mark. Two-year all-cause mortality was 50/335 (14.9 %), and 49/267 (18.4 %) when febrile SE was excluded. Two-year seizure recurrence was 197/335 (58.8 %). On univariate analyses, children (preschoolers 2 to < 5 years and children 5 to < 15 years), Asian ethnicity, SE duration <30 mins and acute (febrile) aetiology were associated with lower mortality, while older age >60 and progressive causes were associated with higher mortality on both univariate and multivariate analyses. Age < 2 years and acute aetiology were associated with lower seizure recurrence, while non convulsive status epilepticus (NCSE) with coma and a history of epilepsy were associated with higher seizure recurrence. On multivariate analyses, a history of epilepsy, as well as having both acute and remote causes were associated with higher seizure recurrence.

    CONCLUSIONS: All-cause mortality in both the paediatric and adult populations at 2 years was lower than most previous reports. Older age, SE duration ≥30 mins and progressive aetiologies were associated with the highest 2-year mortality, while febrile SE had the lowest mortality. A history of epilepsy, NCSE with coma, and having both acute and remote causes were associated with higher seizure recurrence at 2 years. Future studies should focus on functional measures of outcome and long-term quality of life.

    Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is a significant pollutant found in food and feed, posing a threat to public health. The objective of this study was to assess the effect of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (LACP) against AFB1 in growing rabbits by investigating growth, serum metabolites, immunity, antioxidant capacity, and inflammatory response. A total of 60 growing male rabbits (721.5 ± 2.68g) were allocated to 4 experimental groups. The control group receiving only a basal diet, the AFB1 group (0.3 mg AFB1/kg diet), the LACP group (1 × 109 cfu/g /kg diet), and the combination group (1 × 109 cfu/g + 0.3 mg AFB1/kg diet; AFB1+ LACP) for 8 wk. The administration of AFB1 alone significantly decreased the final body weight, body gain, and feed intake, while significantly increasing the feed conversion ratio (P < 0.05). A significant decline in total proteins and globulins, along with elevated levels of hepatic enzymes (AST, ALP, ALT, and GGT) and renal function markers (creatinine and uric acid), were observed in the AFB1-contaminated group (P < 0.05). Immunoglobulins (IgG and IgM) were significantly decreased, alongside a significant elevation of triglycerides, direct bilirubin, and indirect bilirubin in growing rabbits fed diets with AFB1 (P < 0.05). Supplementing the AFB1 diet with LACP restored the growth reduction, improved liver (AST, ALP, ALT, and GGT) and kidney (creatinine and uric acid) functions, and enhanced immune markers in rabbit serum (P < 0.05). Antioxidant indices (SOD, GSH, and CAT) were significantly decreased in the AFB1 group (P < 0.05). However, the addition of LACP to the AFB1-contaminated diets improved antioxidant capacity and malondialdehyde (MDA) and protein carbonylation (PC) in hepatic tissues of rabbits (P < 0.05). Serum interlukin-4 (IL-4) and interferon gamma (IFN-γ) levels were significantly increased in the AFB1 group (P < 0.05), but the addition of LACP significantly reversed this elevation. AFB1 downregulated the expression of immune-inflammatory genes such Nrf2, IL-10, and BCL-2 genes, while up-regulating the caspase-3 (CASP3) gene (P < 0.05). Supplementing AFB1 diet with LACP significantly decreased the expression of immune-inflammatory genes (Nrf2, IL-10, and BCL-2) and reduced the expression of the apoptotic-related gene CASP3. This study highlights the potential of L. plantarum (1 × 109 cfu/g /kg diet) as a protective agent against AFB1 in growing rabbits by enhancing antioxidant and immune function and reducing apoptosis and inflammation pathways.

    BACKGROUND: Psychiatric comorbidities are common in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and are increasingly recognised in Aquaporin-4-Antibody Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders (AQP4-Ab NMOSD) and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein-Antibody Associated Disease (MOGAD). However, it is unclear if these psychiatric comorbidities predate neurological diagnosis or classical neurological symptoms that are conventionally used to establish the onset of these central nervous system inflammatory demyelinating diseases. We sought to: (1) assess the frequency and incidence of psychiatrist-diagnosed psychiatric disorders before and after formal MS, AQP4-Ab NMOSD, and MOGAD diagnosis, and (2) identify potential factors associated with the presence of pre-existing psychiatric morbidity and depression severity at the first clinical visit for MS patients.

    METHODS: A retrospective observational study was performed on MS, AQP4-Ab NMOSD, and MOGAD patients seen at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) Singapore. Individuals with psychiatrist-diagnosed psychiatric disorders before and after neurological diagnosis were identified. Demographic, clinical data, and Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ)-9 score at first clinic visit were collected and analysed.

    RESULTS: Three hundred and ninety-nine patients (249 MS, 102 AQP4-Ab NMOSD, 48 MOGAD) were included. A higher proportion of MS patients (13/249, 5.2%) had psychiatric disorders before neurological diagnosis, compared to AQP4-Ab NMOSD (1/102, 1.0%) and MOGAD (0/48, 0.0%) (p = 0.054). Within MS patients, univariate logistic regression revealed that age, sex, race, MS subtype, initial MRI lesion load, and interval between classical MS symptom onset to MS diagnosis were not associated with pre-existing psychiatric disorders. Mean PHQ-9 score for MS patients at their first MS consult was 4.4 (cut-off for no/minimal depression is ≤4); no clinical factors were predictive of higher PHQ-9 scores on univariate linear regression. The proportion of MS patients (29/236, 12.2%) who developed psychiatric illness after neurological diagnosis was not different from AQP4-Ab NMOSD (9/101, 8.9%) (p > 0.999), while this was significantly higher compared to MOGAD (0/48, 0.0%) (p = 0.021). The incidence rate of psychiatric diseases after neurological diagnosis, accounting for follow up time, was also similar between MS and AQP4-Ab NMOSD (incidence rate ratio 1.2; 95% confidence interval 0.54 - 2.8; p = 0.689).

    CONCLUSION: There is a significant psychiatric burden prior to MS diagnosis compared to AQP4-Ab NMOSD and MOGAD. The increased frequency of psychiatric comorbidity after NMOSD diagnosis merits further study to investigate the determinants of this phenomenon.

    Vegetable oils, derived from diverse sources such as seeds, nuts, and some fruits, play a significant role in dietary health. However, the current evidence on the health effects of different types of vegetable oil consumption remains controversial. This umbrella review aims to synthesize evidence from systematic reviews and meta-analyses to assess the health outcomes associated with various vegetable oils. A comprehensive literature search was performed up to 31 July, 2023 on 12 databases for studies examining the association of different vegetable oils with health outcomes in adults. Data was extracted independently by 2 authors, with evidence strength assessed using the grading of recommendations, assessment, development, and evaluation criteria. A total of 48 studies, including 206 meta-analyses, were included. Moderate to very low certainty evidence showed that monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as canola oil, virgin olive oil, and rice bran oil are beneficial in reducing serum total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) concentrations. Conversely, low to very low certainty evidence suggests that oils high in saturated fats, such as coconut oil and palm oil, increase total cholesterol and LDL concentrations but also raise high-density lipoprotein concentrations. Very low certainty evidence showed the consumption of olive oil, sesame oil, and coconut oil could improve blood sugar control. Low certainty evidence showed olive oil consumption reduced risk of breast, digestive, and other cancers. Moderate to very low certainty evidence suggested that canola oil and sesame oil consumption reduced body weight. The consumption of vegetable oil appears to offer different health benefits, with summary estimates indicating beneficial effects on reducing lipid concentrations, especially with monounsaturated and polyunsaturated rich oils when consumed in recommended amounts. Future research should focus on long-term studies and comprehensive dietary assessments to better understand the health impacts of vegetable oils, providing a basis for informed dietary recommendations.     This study investigated the morphology of the functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) response to speech sounds measured from 16 sleeping infants and how it changes with repeated stimulus presentation. We observed a positive peak followed by a wide negative trough, with the latter being most evident in early epochs. We argue that the overall response morphology captures the effects of two simultaneous, but independent, response mechanisms that are both activated at the stimulus onset: one being the obligatory response to a sound stimulus by the auditory system, and the other being a neural suppression effect induced by the arousal system. Because the two effects behave differently with repeated epochs, it is possible to mathematically separate them and use fNIRS to study factors that affect the development and activation of the arousal system in infants. The results also imply that standard fNIRS analysis techniques need to be adjusted to take into account the possibilities of multiple simultaneous brain systems being activated and that the response to a stimulus is not necessarily stationary.

    Artificial intelligence (AI) use in diabetes care is increasingly being explored to personalise care for people with diabetes and adapt treatments for complex presentations. However, the rapid advancement of AI also introduces challenges such as potential biases, ethical considerations, and implementation challenges in ensuring that its deployment is equitable. Ensuring inclusive and ethical developments of AI technology can empower both health-care providers and people with diabetes in managing the condition. In this Review, we explore and summarise the current and future prospects of AI across the diabetes care continuum, from enhancing screening and diagnosis to optimising treatment and predicting and managing complications.
